Abstract:
Typed transcript of a diary kept while bursar of the London, Ontario, insane asylum. Some comment on current affairs, but
mainly concerns his work, family and church affairs, social activities, music, the theatre, and Irish Home Rule, and his association
with Dr. Richard Maurice Bucke. Copied also is a letter to Sippi by Edward Blake, Toronto, January 19, 1894. Accompanying
the diary is a biographical sketch of Sippi embraced in an article, The Italian Contribution to the Development of Music in
Ontario, by Emilio Goggio (Toronto? 1947?).
